Liza Kyriadidou

Liza

Born in Cyprus. Studied in London at the Royal Academy of dance where she was granted the Licentiate and Teaching Diploma of the RAD. At the RAD she was honored with two awards in anatomy and history of dance. In 2002 she founded Ballet Arts. The school uses the two most recognized dance education systems the RAD and ISTD. She has been acting as an RAD Ambassador in Greece for the CPD from 2015 to 2019. She is a Mentor and Practical teaching Supervisor for the long distance program CBTS (certificate in Ballet teaching studies). She is a member of the Hellenic Region of the RAD and has also served as vice president of the committee from 2019 to 2022. She is also member of ΣΙΣΧΕ, Greek national committee of dance school owners. She has the license to teach progressive ballet technique PBT, completed the 14 hour Basic First Aid training of the Greek Red Cross and annually attends 20 hours of seminars and independent activities for the continuing professional development of the RAD.

Before settling in Greece she did her internship in London at the headquarters of the RAD, worked in USA at the University of Reno Nevada and in private schools. In Cyprus she taught ballet and “dance and movement therapy” in private schools and opened her own ballet school. 

Liza is also a certified life coach, specializing in working with teenagers and artists of all genres to build confidence and overcome challenges to achieve their goals. 

She lives in Glyfada and has three daughters Manuella, Marilyn and Emmelia.
